What is the difference between the leapex evo cbsp and leapex cbsp, and which should i choose?
Both models use high-contrast cbsp material and deliver very similar image quality. the leapex evo adds quieter operation, improved flatness, anti-pinch protection, automatic height memory, and wireless usb plus wired triggers. choose the evo for greater convenience, safety, and stability; choose the standard leapex cbsp if you need an acoustically transparent (at) lower border, voice control, sizes from 72 to 130 inches, or better value.
Is the leapex evo cbsp compatible with my projector?
The leapex evo cbsp is designed specifically for ultra short throw (ust) projectors, with a recommended projector brightness of 1,800 ansi lumens or higher. its cbsp material rejects up to 95% of ceiling light and improves contrast in rooms with moderate ambient light. avoid placing the screen directly opposite strong sunlight or bright windows. it is not recommended for standard-throw or long-throw projectors.
Is the bottom black border acoustically transparent?
No. the lower black border of the leapex evo cbsp is not perforated or acoustically transparent (at). if you plan to position a speaker behind the lower section of the screen, we recommend choosing the standard leapex cbsp, which features a perforated at lower border.
Can the screen automatically synchronize with my projector?
Yes. the leapex evo supports both a wireless usb trigger and a wired trigger connection. once connected and paired, the screen can rise automatically when the projector turns on and retract when it turns off. note: automatic operation requires the projector's usb port to power on and off with the unit. if the usb port remains powered in standby mode, please use the wired trigger or remote control.
Can i set a custom screen height, and will the screen remember it?
Yes. stop the screen at your preferred height, and the automatic height-memory function will recall that position the next time the screen rises—no manual limit-setting process required. for maximum tension and ideal flatness, fully extending the screen is recommended. leaving up to approximately 10 cm (4 inches) unextended is acceptable, but a larger unextended section may reduce screen flatness over time.
