Yes. its specialized lenticular optical structure helps reduce visible laser speckle, particularly when used with rgb triple-laser projectors. however, speckle performance varies depending on the projector’s laser architecture, screen size, viewing distance, and individual sensitivity. no projection screen can guarantee the complete elimination of laser speckle in every installation.
Is the wupro lt lenticular clr screen available in a motorized version?
No. wupro lt lenticular clr material is currently available only as a fixed-frame screen. due to its specialized optical structure, lt lenticular is one of the thickest multilayer screen materials in the wupro range. repeated rolling around a motorized shaft could create material memory, potentially leading to horizontal lines or v-shaped waves over time. to maintain long-term flatness, protect the lenticular optical structure, and preserve consistent image performance, this material is offered exclusively in a tensioned fixed-frame design.
What is the difference between clr and alr projector screens?
Alr stands for ambient light rejecting and is a broad term for screen materials designed to reduce the effect of unwanted ambient light arriving from specific directions. clr stands for ceiling light rejecting and commonly refers to screens designed specifically to reduce interference from overhead lighting. some conventional high-contrast alr materials use highly reflective optical layers, which may make laser speckle more noticeable with certain rgb triple-laser projectors. wupro lt lenticular clr uses a specialized optical structure designed to balance ambient-light control, perceived contrast, and reduced visible laser speckle.
Can i customize the screen size and aspect ratio?
Yes. custom sizes and aspect ratios are available. for the standard 16:9 format, seamless screens can be customized up to 130 inches. wider cinemascope formats, including 2.35:1 and 2.40:1, can be customized up to 160 inches. please contact wuprobuy with your required screen dimensions and preferred aspect ratio for availability and a tailored quotation.
Is the wupro lt lenticular clr screen compatible with ultra-short-throw projectors?
No. this material is designed for standard- and long-throw projectors and is not compatible with ultra short throw (ust) projectors. ust projectors direct light upward toward the screen at a steep angle. because lt lenticular material is designed for light arriving from a standard or long-throw position, it may reject or incorrectly redirect light from a ust projector.
What is the recommended projection distance?
For optimal image uniformity and optical performance, the recommended projector-to-screen distance is generally at least 1.5 times the screen width. the exact installation distance also depends on the projector’s throw ratio, lens position, image size, and available lens shift or keystone adjustment. always confirm compatibility using the specifications of your projector before installation.
